This is a distinguished international opportunity organized by the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Italy. It aims to train researchers and professionals on advanced tools and methodologies for energy planning and modeling.

The program focuses on building participants’ capacity in energy systems analysis and supporting decision-making in sustainable energy. It includes both theoretical and hands-on training, where participants will learn to use advanced energy modeling tools and apply them to real-world case studies from their own countries, under the guidance of international experts.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Completion of a relevant Open University course related to the selected track (with certificate)
  • Completion of the "Political Economy" course (with certificate)
  • Submission of supporting documents (course certificates)
  • Proof of future use of acquired skills (in government, academia, or research)
  • An official letter from employer/institution may be required
  • Preference is given to applicants from developing countries
  • Diversity and inclusion are considered in the selection process
