The Youth COP 2026 Program is an international initiative that simulates global climate negotiations, aiming to train students in understanding the mechanisms of diplomatic work in climate change issues. The program is organized by international universities and offers participants a realistic experience of simulating the negotiations of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Students take part in negotiation sessions where they represent different countries and work on developing a policy document that reflects consensus on global climate issues. The program also aims to enhance participants’ skills in critical thinking, teamwork, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
