This fellowship is offered by the Moving Minds Alliance and aims to support early-career researchers in the Global South to conduct research on young children (ages 0–8) and their caregivers in crisis contexts such as conflict, displacement, and disasters. The program focuses on generating knowledge and evidence related to early childhood development in humanitarian settings, while providing fellows with the opportunity to join a global research network, collaborate with experts, and publish their findings internationally. The fellowship lasts for one year, during which participants are expected to implement a research project relevant to their local context.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Strong connection to or experience working with crisis-affected communities
  • Submission of an original, innovative, and feasible research proposal within a 12-month period
  • Research must focus on children (0–8 years) and their caregivers
  • Commitment to participating in mentorship and learning sessions
  • Research must be conducted in a Global South country
