ClimateLaunchpad is the world’s largest competition for green business ideas and clean technology innovations aimed at tackling climate change. The program is designed to support entrepreneurs, innovators, and early-stage startups who have innovative ideas that can contribute to solving global climate challenges. Participants receive professional training and mentorship to help them transform their climate-related ideas into viable business models and startups. During the program, participants learn how to develop their business models, analyze markets, and prepare professional pitches. Teams then compete in national, regional, and global finals where they present their ideas to experts, investors, and leaders in climate innovation.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must have an innovative idea related to clean technology or climate solutions.
  • Applicants may include students, researchers, entrepreneurs, startups, engineers, or consultants.
  • The idea must be at an early stage of development.
  • If the idea belongs to a registered startup, the company must be less than two years old.
  • The total funding received by the project must be less than €200,000.
  • The project must not have commercially sold products or prototypes yet.
  • Applicants cannot apply if the same idea has previously been accepted into ClimateLaunchpad or similar Climate-KIC programs.
  • Applicants must apply through the country where they reside.
