Youth4Climate has launched its Call for Solutions 2026! This is the fourth round of funding and learning opportunities to support youth-led climate solutions across 6 thematic areas. The call is open to young people from 158 UNDP programme countries and territories. Applicants can request seed funding of up to $30,000 USD.

Thematic areas for 2026:

  • Sustainable Energy
  • - Food and Agriculture
  • - Climate, Peace and Security
  • - Oceans and Blue Economy
  • - Sustainable Fashion and Textiles
  • - Architecture for Adaptation

Projects can be implemented over a maximum duration of 24 months. Applications can be submitted in English, French, Spanish, or Portuguese. Application deadline: 30 April 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Young individuals aged 18 to 29 years old
  • - Youth-led civil society organizations (CSO), NGOs, community-based organizations (CBO), or legally registered companies with a majority of youth (18-29) in leadership
  • - The project leader must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries listed in the Call for Solutions Guidelines
  • - The proposed project must be implemented in one of the eligible countries
