The Global Fellowships Programme is a funded short-term research fellowship designed for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from Global South countries. The program aims to support high-quality research, strengthen international scientific collaboration, and promote global knowledge exchange. Fellows will gain access to Senckenberg’s extensive natural history collections, advanced research laboratories, scientific libraries, and expert researchers. Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be nationals of countries classified as Global South by the OECD.
- Must hold a Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant research field.
- Must have a proposed research project agreed upon with a Senckenberg host scientist.
- Double funding for the same fellowship period is not permitted.
- Applicants with permanent residence in Germany, the European Union, North America, or Australia are not eligible, even if they hold a qualifying nationality.
