The Young Leaders Summer Academy 2026 is organized by the ICI Institute and focuses on the theme of Climate Change and Security. The program aims to bring together young leaders from the Middle East and Europe to explore the interconnections between climate change, regional security, and strategic policy development.
The academy seeks to strengthen participants’ analytical and strategic thinking skills while fostering dialogue and cooperation between regions. Participants will engage in discussions, expert-led sessions, and interactive formats designed to deepen their understanding of climate-related security challenges and policy responses.

- Applicants must be from the Middle East (broadly defined) or Europe
- Open to young professionals, researchers, diplomats, journalists, and practitioners
- Applicants from diverse academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply (social sciences, natural sciences, economics, law, history, and related fields)
