The call focuses on addressing institutional and technical barriers to EbA uptake and scaling, improving data and evidence generation, strengthening learning and knowledge networks, and increasing investment readiness. Projects must generate tangible benefits for both people and nature while integrating gender responsiveness, Indigenous Peoples' rights, local participation, environmental and social safeguards, equitable benefit-sharing, and measures to prevent maladaptation. Projects must build on existing work rather than operate as completely standalone interventions.
