The Leading Scholarship gives young leaders from around the world the opportunity to participate in the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa. The scholarship is aimed at young people with a proven record of creating positive change, addressing important local or global issues, and developing innovative, impactful ideas. Priority is given to applicants from countries that have been underrepresented at previous summits and to first-time attendees.

Eligibility Criteria
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of the Summit.
- Demonstrate a commitment to creating positive change.
- Be working to address important local and/or global issues.
- Have a proven record of developing innovative and impactful ideas.
- No specific academic degree or field of study is required.
- The scholarship is intended for individual young leaders.
- priority is given to first-time Summit attendees.
