The QS ImpACT Awards 2026 recognize young people, universities, and organizations that are creating measurable positive impact aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The awards focus on practical initiatives in areas such as sustainability, climate action, community health and well-being, and youth-led SDG projects. 
Details
  • Eligible applicants: Young people aged 18–35, as well as universities, youth groups, NGOs, civil society organizations, and other organizations with relevant initiatives.
  • Geographic eligibility: Worldwide; projects can be local, national, or global.
  • Focus areas: Sustainability innovation, climate education and action, community health and well-being, biodiversity and conservation, plastic reduction and recycling, youth/student SDG projects, and leadership and equity.
  • Impact requirement: Applicants should demonstrate measurable results, using evidence such as data, outcomes, or sustainability results.
  • Prize/support: Winners may receive a £500 grant to help scale their impact, along with mentorship and support.
  • Additional benefits: Global visibility, recognition through the QS ImpACT network, and opportunities to promote the initiative through QS ImpACT platforms.
  • Award event: Winners will be announced at the QS ImpACT Youth Summit in London, 5–6 December 2026. 
Eligibility Criteria
  • Be 18–35 years old for the individual/youth categories.
  • Universities and organizations can apply through the relevant institutional categories.
  • Have a project, initiative, or activity related to sustainability, the SDGs, climate action, health, community well-being, or another relevant award area.
  • The initiative should have produced measurable or demonstrable impact.
  • The project can be at the local, national, or global level.
  • The initiative should demonstrate meaningful contribution toward one or more UN SDGs.
  • Applicants should be able to provide evidence of their results and impact.
