The European Training Foundation (ETF) has officially launched the Green Skills Award 2026. This annual award recognises and promotes outstanding initiatives that help people develop green skills and support the transition toward a fair, sustainable and resource-efficient economy.

The award targets impactful initiatives implemented in education, vocational training, workplaces, communities, and digital platforms. It aims to give local and national projects global visibility and amplify their impact.

In 2026, a special #ForOurPlanet Prize will also recognise exceptional initiatives focused on nature restoration and preservation.
