Details

Duration: Annual course (submission opens in January and closes in June of each year).


Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (awards ceremony) and the award is international.


Funding/Award:


Large cash prizes of up to USD 1,000,000 per category for organizations and institutions


The Global High School category has prizes of about $150,000 per winning school (divided by global regions).


Fees: No application fee


Submission mechanism: Submission is made only through the official electronic portal of the award.


Language requirements: Applications can be submitted in several languages, including English, Arabic and others.



Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be:


A small or medium-sized organization (SME), a non-profit organization (NPO), or a high school with a student-led project.


The project/solution provided must be innovative, have a clear impact, and scalable.


It is not allowed to submit more than one application for each entity in one category.


There are no restrictions on nationality; the idea is open to everyone from all over the world
