- Eligible types of applicants: Implementers of resilience and adaptation projects and providers of climate resilience solutions.
- Eligible project stages: Projects do not have to be fully completed. Pilot, scaling, or operational projects may be considered, provided they demonstrate actual implementation and initial evidence of impact.

- Building climate-resilient infrastructure.
- Advancing water stewardship.
- Safeguarding agriculture and food systems.
- Putting people first.
- Multiple applications: An organization may submit more than one project, provided each application concerns a different project or initiative.
- Category submissions: The same project cannot be submitted to more than one category, although applicants may identify a preferred secondary category. The organizers may recategorize a project where appropriate.
- Application fee: No application fee; participation is free.
- Evaluation process: Applications first undergo an eligibility screening, followed by an assessment of case studies based on impact, credibility, and potential. Outstanding projects proceed to an independent expert judging panel.
- Supporting evidence: Applicants may provide evidence such as impact reports, monitoring data, independent evaluations, dashboards, implementation plans, photographs, videos, customer testimonials, website links, certifications, and media coverage.
- Supporting documents: 2–5 supporting documents.
