- Location: Global/online; there is no requirement to reside in a specific country.
- Duration: There is no fixed program duration. The competition is based on submitting an existing creative project.
- Application Fee: Free.
- Eligible creative fields: Photography, documentary and experimental film, performance art, poetry and spoken word, music, dance, fashion design, new media, app development, software projects, writing, social-media-based projects, and other creative formats.
- Project theme: The work must address the climate crisis and/or ecological breakdown and provide a personal creative interpretation of these issues.
- Required materials: Applicants may submit up to 10 images or videos of their project, along with a project description, a short biography, and a written reflection on their experience as a young person living through the environmental crisis.
- Project description: Up to 500 words.
- Biography: A short biography of no more than 100 words.
- Video: High-quality MP4 or MOV format; individual videos must not exceed 5 minutes due to submission-platform restrictions.
- Images: High-quality JPEG format.
- Digital projects: A working direct link must be provided for web-based or digital projects.
- Artificial intelligence: AI tools may be used as artistic assistance, but applicants must disclose their use and explain why AI was needed. AI must not completely replace the applicant's creative work.
- Group applications: Applications may be submitted individually, as a duo, or as a team. All team members and collaborators must be clearly identified.
- Selection process: Eligible submissions are reviewed and a group of finalists is selected. An international jury of professionals from the arts, culture, media, and environmental sectors selects the winners.
- Results: Winners are expected to be notified by email in November 2026.
- Reapplication: Previous applicants may apply again, provided their previous project did not win an award or receive an honorable mention.

The Earth Partner Prize 2026 is a global competition for young artists and creatives aged 14–30. It aims to use creativity, art, and visual expression to stimulate discussion about the environmental and climate crises and environmental justice. The prize is organized by Earth Partner in collaboration with the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and Re:wild. Participants can submit creative work in a wide range of formats, including photography, film, performance art, music, dance, fashion, writing, technology, and digital projects. The competition seeks to amplify young people's voices and encourage them to express their experiences, concerns, and hopes regarding the environmental crisis while connecting their work to climate, biodiversity, and community action.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be 14–30 years old as of October 7, 2026.
- Open to applicants of all nationalities, races, genders, and beliefs.
- Open worldwide with no specific residency requirement.
- No specific university or academic qualification is required.
- Applicants must be artists or creatives with a suitable creative project.
- The project must address the climate crisis and/or ecological crisis/breakdown.
- The project must already have been created at the time of application; future concepts or ideas alone are not eligible.
- The project must have been produced or documented, as appropriate to the nature of the work, at the time of application.
- Individuals, duos, and teams may apply.
- All collaborators who have intellectual-property rights or interests in the project must be identified.
- Submitted work must be original and must not violate the law or another person's intellectual-property rights.
- No specific nationality or country is required.
- No specific professional experience is required.
- There is no application fee.
- Applicants under 18 must obtain the signature/consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate and agree to the competition terms.
- Any use of AI tools must be disclosed and explained.
- Written works such as poetry or essays should preferably be presented in a creative visual format suitable for the competition.
- Submitted works must comply with the competition's rules concerning third-party materials, logos, trademarks, and intellectual property.
