The Summer School will take place from 15 to 19 June 2026 in Trieste, Italy, and will host up to 35 participants, including Master’s students or graduates and PhD candidates or holders. Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency at a minimum B2 level and have an academic background in fields such as oceanography (physics, chemistry, biology), marine biology, geology, geophysics, geochemistry, environmental engineering, ecological modelling, climate studies, coastal zone management, or maritime spatial planning. Funding is provided through supporting projects: BEYOND and MareSkill (funded by Interreg Italy - Croatia) will sponsor a number of students from Italy and Croatia, while Blue Skills will fund 15–20 participants from the 5+5 Dialogue countries and the Mediterranean region.
