The World Ocean Day Youth Advisory Council is a global fellowship program that brings together 20–25 young leaders from diverse backgrounds and countries who have experience in environmental protection and ocean conservation. The program aims to empower young people to lead environmental initiatives, strengthen their leadership skills, promote international collaboration for ocean conservation and climate action, and inspire greater youth engagement in environmental advocacy at both the local and global levels. Council members collaborate with one another, contribute to the planning and development of World Ocean Day activities, and participate in year-round initiatives that support ocean conservation.
