Impact Pioneers is a regional leadership programme organized by the Swedish Institute to support emerging leaders and changemakers in the Middle East and North Africa who are working in sustainable entrepreneurship, green innovation, climate solutions, and social or environmental impact initiatives.
The programme aims to strengthen participants’ capacity in sustainable leadership, scale their impact-driven initiatives, and foster long-term regional and international partnerships. It combines online learning modules with an in-person training week in Sweden. During the on-site component, participants engage in workshops, leadership training sessions, study visits, and networking activities with Swedish organizations active in sustainability and innovation.
- Must be a citizen and resident of one of the eligible countries listed above
- Demonstrated leadership experience in entrepreneurship or impact-driven initiatives
- Actively working on a project, startup, or organization contributing to sustainability goals
- Ability to fully commit to both the online and on-site components of the programme
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- International round-trip travel to Sweden
- Accommodation during the on-site training week
