The ONE World Sustainability Awards is a global initiative launched by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to recognize companies, start-ups, and industrial initiatives that provide innovative and scalable solutions in sustainability and industrial development. The awards aim to highlight successful models that generate measurable environmental, social, and economic impact while connecting participants with a global network of governments, investors, policymakers, and international experts. Finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their projects before representatives of UN Member States, business leaders, and investors during the final awards event in Vienna, Austria.

Eligibility Criteria
- Sustainable Supply Chains Category:
- Open to companies, cooperatives, ethical sourcing and certification programs, and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Applicants must focus on developing sustainable supply chains at the regional or global level.
- Demonstrated measurable environmental, social, and economic impact is preferred.
- Practices should ideally be scalable and replicable across sectors or regions.
- Innovative Start-Ups Category:
- Open to start-ups developing innovative technologies, business models, digital solutions, or green solutions.
- Companies are generally expected to be no more than five years old, with flexibility for companies up to seven years from official registration.
- Typically fewer than 50 employees, although exceptions may be considered.
- The company must be actively operating in the market.
- Concept-stage ideas or projects that have not yet been implemented are not eligible.
- Women in Industry Category:
- Open to companies or cooperatives implementing business models that promote gender equality.
- Initiatives must demonstrate impact on women within the organization, not only among founders or leadership.
- Female representation in leadership and management positions is encouraged.
- Evidence of improved opportunities, training, and workplace equality for women is preferred.
