The Enterprising Futures Scholarship 2026 is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in partnership with One Young World. It supports young entrepreneurs who lead or co-lead startups or small and medium-sized enterprises with clear social or environmental impact.
Selected scholars will attend the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, where around 2,000 young leaders from more than 190 countries gather to exchange ideas, learn from global experts, and build strong international networks.
Before the Summit, scholars will participate in an in-person preparatory programme in Cape Town, which includes leadership training sessions, workshops, and pitch competitions designed to strengthen their entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
- Aged between 18 and 35 years old by November 2026
- Founder or co-founder of a startup or SME with measurable social or environmental impact
- Citizen and resident of one of the eligible countries listed above
- Proficient in English
- Fully available to participate from 30 October to 7 November 2026
- Full access to the One Young World Summit 2026
- Participation in the in-person preparatory leadership programme
- Round-trip international economy airfare
