One Young World, in partnership with the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM), offers a fully funded international scholarship aimed at young leaders who are creating positive impact in sustainability, environmental protection, climate action, and responsible natural resource production. The scholarship supports young changemakers leading innovative initiatives related to biodiversity conservation, decarbonization, human rights, community development, and sustainability.
Selected participants will attend the One Young World Summit 2026, which brings together thousands of young leaders and changemakers from more than 190 countries worldwide. The scholarship also provides an opportunity to connect with global experts, leaders from international institutions, and major companies, as well as participate in advanced leadership and training sessions
- Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of the summit
- Proven record of leadership in community or professional settings
- Working on a project or initiative with measurable impact in sustainability, environment, or climate-related fields
- Ability to demonstrate real outcomes and tangible impact from their work
- Willingness to engage and collaborate with other scholarship participants
- Applicants over 35 may be considered in exceptional cases if they demonstrate significant impact and achievements
- Applicants under 18 years old at the time of the summit are not eligible
