D-Prize offers a global opportunity for social entrepreneurs who want to launch new organizations focused on distributing proven poverty solutions in developing countries. The competition supports ideas that help deliver effective health, education, agricultural, and economic interventions to underserved communities that currently lack access to these solutions.

The initiative focuses on “distribution” rather than inventing new solutions. D-Prize funds individuals with practical plans to scale evidence-based interventions that can positively impact thousands or even millions of people. Participants may establish a nonprofit organization, social enterprise, or another suitable operational model. Winners receive seed funding to launch a pilot project that can later grow into a large-scale initiative.
