The Youth Summit 2026 is the annual meeting of Plant-for-the-Planet climate justice ambassadors and interested activists. It will take place in Frankfurt, Germany, from September 24–27, 2026. This year’s theme is “Stronger Together: Climate, Community, and Democracy.” The summit aims to bring together a balanced group of participants with equal regional and gender representation. It welcomes both experienced and younger climate justice ambassadors, as well as young people interested in learning more about the global climate crisis and the role of networks in achieving a sustainable future. The summit provides a space for discussion, learning, and international networking among climate activists.

  • The summit will be held in person in Frankfurt, Germany, from September 24 to 27, 2026. The application deadline is February 28, 2026. Applicants must be between 16 and 28 years old. Applications from children under 16 will not be accepted through the online form; they must contact the organizers directly.
  • This is a self-funded conference, meaning participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses. However, food and accommodation will be provided free of charge for accepted applicants.
  • A good level of English is required, and the application form must be completed in English. Applicants will be informed about the results at the beginning of May.
  • All data will be handled in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR).
Eligibility Criteria
  • Age between 16 and 28 years old.
  • Interest in climate justice or being a Plant-for-the-Planet climate justice ambassador.
  • Good knowledge of English.
  • Willingness to cover personal travel expenses.
  • Completion of the required application form.
